Montecristo Montecristo No. 4 Review:
The taste of numbers 1, 3 and 4 is quite the same, coffee, cocoa and vanilla flavours blended in great harmony with a medium tobacco taste. A minimum ageing of at least three years is recommended for this cigar to find its real potential.

Review #37: I didn't enjoy smoking these. I have smoked only a couple from different, reliable habano stores and they have been harsh, hot and tarry with a poor burn (and I can get an even burn out of anything!). The first third was alright but after that it became too hot even when smoked slowly. A good cigar should burn to the last inch without any harshness, especially with the price you are paying. I aged these for a further 2-3 months at least in my humidor. I don't see what all the hype is about personally, I would much prefer a Bolivar or RyJ petit corona any time. - Submitted by A. Review #36: I had a box of these and 24 of 25 were very good. Rich and creamy in flavor. A great anytime smoke for a good price. I will be getting more of these. - Submitted by flyer on September 24, 2004
Review #35: This is truly a everyday cigar that you can enjoy. I was very pleased with the flavors, it has a relaxing effect while you enjoy it.It is now my cigar of chose. - Submitted by Lawrence L on September 23, 2004
Review #34: Best mareva around. I keep trying others but the Montecristo is like the "Terminator" to me...."I'll be back". Wonderful aroma and compexity right to the very end. Smoke with a good dessert wine for a smooth 45 minutes of bliss. - Submitted by Don from Oz on September 16, 2004
Review #33: Just bought 5 of these from an '02 box. My first Cuban smoke. There is a distinct difference in flavor from what I am normally used too(Dominican). A much more mellow smoke, no bite at all. Creamy tabacco flavor consistent throughout with some earth undertones. Cigar wrapped tight good draw even burn. Only negative thing... it didn't last. - Submitted by Jay D on September 14, 2004
