Review #224: --- 08 I would like to modify my previous low rating review. It's quite an enjoyable smoke after aging 6 months. Yes, aging let Mont4 develop and reveal its potential. In green state, it is quite disappointed but aging change that. Let it rest in humidor at least one year and it's rewarding. - Submitted by ThomasWang on August 28, 2009

Review #223: MAR 08 I have been smoking cigars for 5 years now. Montecristo No. 4 use to be one of my favorite. I have a box of 25 of them aging in mine humidor. Today I decided to try one. I was very surprised, shocked, mine year and a half old Monties do not have any draw. Over the years I have noticed that quality of Montecristo No.4 drastically diminished. Four months ago I smoked mine first non Cuban cigar it was Padron 3000 Maduro. The experience of smoking Padron was an eye opener. I think Cuban cigars are grossly overrated compare to violas of the other non Cuban brands. I will never ever buy Montecristo No. 4 again, period. Next week mine friend is bringing from Cuba box of Bolivars Petit Corona, maybe I will have more luck with them. - Submitted by VALDI on August 17, 2009

Review #222: ΟΚ. - Submitted by zoe29 on August 10, 2009

Review #221: --- 08 Reviewer #214 spot on, go to cigar if you don't know what you're in the mood for...Had one two hours ago, consistent with others I've had. Coffee notes throughout, draw was a little tight, but I find that with cigars in this vitola. classic! - Submitted by kevpau on July 18, 2009

Review #220: Let's face it: this cigar does it's job for the price. I live in Canada and pay roughly the same price for No. 4 than for a Romeo y Julietta Tubo No. 2 (yarrrrk) you can find in pretty much any convenience store. So it's quite a deal. Even though it was firm at touch first, it quickly got a lot softer after beeing lit... So the smoke became really intense. It didn't burn straight all the way but it had a typical Montecristo flavor, pretty strong, and a thick smoke. Over, fair quality for the price. - Submitted by dios humo on July 17, 2009
