Montecristo Montecristo No. 4 Review:

The taste of numbers 1, 3 and 4 is quite the same, coffee, cocoa and vanilla flavours blended in great harmony with a medium tobacco taste. A minimum ageing of at least three years is recommended for this cigar to find its real potential.

Review #77: What a small 'fuma' which was cigar from the heaven! Pecfect draw and very even burn. Also I felt a hints of some mint, nut and coffee bean. Will be try a couple of box.. - Submitted by LubCuban on February 7, 2006

Review #76: I don't understand what the previous two are talking about. What are they smoking? I smoked one from a box dated Nov 05 and yes, it did not taste very good. However, these cigars need to age. Construction is fine, they burn well, and the taste is simply due to a lack of ageing. By next Nov 06 my cigars will be ready for smoking. It is rediculous to judge them before they are ready to be smoked.Perhaps the No. 4 is not be the best cigar around but you can't go wrong with these. They are certainly not "one star", "crappy" cigars. - Submitted by MVM on January 23, 2006

Review #75: well, agree with Patton, bad burn, inconsistent, just a good name, they make too many of them these days... better buy less known cubans... certainly if you buy boxes! - Submitted by Yapi on January 17, 2006

Review #74: I always wondered why this is the best selling cigar. In my humble opinion, this is a very crappy cigar. Very tight draw,, doesn't burn evenly, and hardly any taste. At about one third i finally had some taste, and the taste wasn't bad, but it didn't last for long. I smoked a few of these, from different boxes, but they all had the same result. So, why is this the best selling cigar, if there are so much better cigars in the same price range? - Submitted by Patton on December 5, 2005

Review #73: good light cigar, nice taste, good constuction. It needed relighting more than twice but maybe this was due to the fact that i was talking a lot and didn't take draws for long periods of time. - Submitted by Pedro on November 9, 2005
