Review #160: I got one of these for $20 US. I was not very impressed. It had initial leathery deep flavors, but zero finish. Interesting flavor with slight complexity but zero kick. In my opinion, Cohiba is just not as quality as R&J, Bolivar, Hoyo de Monterrey, El Rey Del Mundo or Partagas. I will take any size of those over any Cohiba any day. - Submitted by putnameter on April 1, 2009

Review #159: NOV 06 Some are excellent that you feel like being in heaven...others are just untasty for expectations...whats wrong...maybe everything's special has a double face....BTW I will always try to go into heaven and light one this baby - Submitted by m4tt3 on February 21, 2009

Review #158: Smoked one in Aruba a short time ago, as I figured I'd splurge. Cigar was perfectly humidified with a very dark, almost maduro wrapper and a delicious chocolaty aroma. However, upon smoking it, I feel that the Esplendido is a good but not great cigar. Don't get me wrong, as it is quite nice to smoke and gives great depth of flavor, but I don't think it compares to the Hoyo and Punch churchills, much less the Cohiba Siglo IV, when you factor in the amount of money it costs to obtain these (ie: I'd rather have 2+ hoyos to one esplendido). - Submitted by Goldenberg on December 25, 2008

Review #157: DEC 07 I bought a box of these in Santa Lucia last week. Very impressive, wonderful smell, slow burn, a little tough pull but than again its a Cohiba! I like the size could be a little more tastier. Its a classic Cohiba taste, however seems lighter than most. 90% due to the pull, maybe they are just over humidified so I am sure that my humidor will fix them right up. - Submitted by Cuba_Raff on December 18, 2008

Review #156: There still appears to be a debate going on about the price of the Cohiba Esplendidos.I am also in Australia, however, after some searching around I have found two suppliers (one in Brisbane and one on the Gold Coast) who sell them for $49.50 per stick. That's still not cheap, but it's a lot better than $71 and it's still an awesome cigar! I have had two this year and I am going to buy a couple more for the upcoming holiday season!I guess the moral is to keep looking around,do your homework before you fork out too much. - Submitted by nikmik on November 23, 2008
