Review #155: I have nothing but good things to report about this cigar over recent years, although I know the stories about its inconsistency. I asked one of Cohiba's most senior rollers which cigar he rated highest, and he unhesitatingly replied "Esplendido". So it's no surprise that it's the world's most faked cigar - be sure you get yours from a reliable source, and give it a few years to mature - no less than 3, imho. Then enjoy the signature Cohiba powerful and complex leather and spice aroma and mouthfilling taste of grilled hazelnuts, cocoa and plums... - Submitted by winterbee on September 30, 2008

Review #153: Sencillamente el mejor habano que existe - Submitted by Harry on September 19, 2008

Review #152: i had been craving for this cigar for quite sometimes but never got the chance to try one, and today i had the pleasure of experiencing my first ever esplendidos. it is a gift from a friend. But sadly it was plugged, i tried massaging the cigar, take a puff, and another massage... keep on repeating until halfway, and i give up (still puffing though but not massaging the cigar anymore, the wrapper looks like its going to tear already). it has all the cohiba characteristic (through my little experience with siglo IV, VI and robusto) yet i did not manage to make any fine draw for a good thick smoke. not even once. only god knows how i feels deep inside. Yet, i will not give up. Will try again some other time (not some times near i guess, i might need to heal first lol) and please be informed that my super low rating is for this particular plugged stick only. Thanx for reading. - Submitted by boyez on September 19, 2008
