Review #29: I got incredibly drunk and decided to smoke this with some guys that I know - A very strong flavour - too strong for me and the thing just goes on for ages! Not my kind of smoke but you can definitely appreciate the quality of tobacco used and if you like churchills then this is a worthy alternative - Submitted by Don Slazenger on August 20, 2004

Review #28: As said by JRBoricua, probably overrated, ESPECIALLY for the price. But I splash out every new year's eve for one of these. And you can tell you're smoking pure class. Very refined, and very, very good. - Submitted by peanutaxis on August 10, 2004

Review #27: My wife "tastes" all my cigars. She likes a puff off the first few minutes. She then declares any cigar nice and mild. I insisted she take a puff or two mid-way through this magnificent smoke, and she then declared that she was smoking toasted cinnamon and chocolate soil from her homeland in Romania. She went nostalgic and required that I stock away three or four more boxes of these!! Thank You Cohiba!~! - Submitted by gastro62 on July 4, 2004

Review #26: Just back after nearly three week trip to Cuba. Tried every one of the top cigars including...Punch,Montecristo, R and J,but found myself going back to the Esplendidos,so much so that I managed to smoke 13 from a box of 25, along with all the others. I did encounter a couple with draw problems and inconsitent burn, but they are probably the best cigar on the market. I came back to the U.K with two boxes of 25, and a box of Romeo No1's which are also right up there with the best at an affordable price. I think people should expect consitent quality from these cigars at the price they are, but they give great flavour right to the very end. - Submitted by Simon F. on July 2, 2004

Review #25: I feel the Esplendido is over rated. I've smoked several and they for me were flat and one dimensional. Maybe I've gotten bad ones but I've smoke then from differnet sources and years and the same, flat and not complex. - Submitted by JRBoricua on June 24, 2004
