Review #138: re: review 136: i have a box from the LLN factory (Upmann?) from AGO '04 which have also been a complete disappointment. the flavors are all over the map, but never good ones!! and they are almost at the 3 year mark. so it doesn't appear that age will help them. - Submitted by rascalbadmonkey on January 30, 2007

Review #137: To reviewer 136: It might be a good idea to leave the Montecristo Nr.2 sit in your humidor for at least 6 months. It will get much better and yes, it is a smooth Cigar for sure, but it will get punch with age! Smoked one last night and it was perfect, but it's no robusto. The ring is about 2 mm larger and therefore the burn temperature is much lower of the cone and therefore much smoother and naturally there is the length. Leave the box in your humidor for 6 months at 70 to 75% humidity and it will come out all right! Hopefully you appreciate the advice. - Submitted by schimahen on January 29, 2007

Review #136: Motecristo No.2 Box LLN NOV 04 I'm a big fan of the Cohiba Robustos and wanted to find somethings different and interesting... so I went ahead and got this box of 25 of this so-called "best-selling" cuban; had 2 of these from this box so far, I find it quite lite very lite actually very silky smooth, great consistency but no punch to it, no pizzazz, no gusto... nothing too crazy exciting, I don't understand what the rant & rave is all about... I don't believe I'll be getting more of these MC#2's... or at least for a whilst time. I just find it a bit dull/boring, don't know why it's the best selling/most popular cuban...? But I'll have to see after I smoke a few several more of these... I am hoping I'll get to appreciate them more as I get to know them better :) - Submitted by hendrik on January 28, 2007

Review #135: It has been almost a year since I had my last MC#2. I lmost forgot how it was. Since then I've smoking mainly Cohibas, but now thay I came back to my origins I must state that this is the best smoke I can have, specialy the first third- which in the longer vitolas have less power - in this cigar is truly amazing. I was reading a briefing while smoking, but I had to stop - there is no change of paying attention to the reading while savouring the cigar. To reviewer #130:NO WAY the comparison to the Bolivar BF which I've found dull on most occasions - Submitted by pvieira on January 24, 2007

Review #134: This cigar lacks consistency in all of the young boxes. But you'll find in almost all the factory codes available great potential once aged. I have never had a bad No.2 with at least a year of maturity on the box. I have had these in all forms including the box of 25 and 10. But the best of them all come in the 5 pack carton form. The carton form usually is offered as better deal. Check out Review #118 for my best experience which was from FIM OCT 05 box of 25. - Submitted by semery74 on January 12, 2007
