Review #162: These are among the best cuba has to offer. They are also are among the largest in counterfeits. Be very careful. A true aged #2 should never have draw problems nor be lacking in flavor. I age mine for over 5 years. - Submitted by carter on May 25, 2007

Review #161: I would consider myself a beginner smoker only having sampled 1 or 2 cigars from each of the various cuban brands.I Just smoked my first #2 and I have to say I was extremely disappointed. I felt that it was a struggle to get a decent draw from the first half and not much flavour at all. Relit it halfway through and there was much more smoke and flavour but I never got the bang of satisfaction I was expecting. I would like to sample another one after reading some of the positive reviews here but until I do this one only gets a rating of 2 in my book. - Submitted by Swi on May 7, 2007

Review #160: This was the first cigar i was ever privaledged to smoke and i must say, it knocked me right on my ass. It is a true thing of beauty and has quite a nice strength. They are quite a big cigar so be prepared for a nice long relaxation time with this Habana beauty. Sometimes i can find the draw to be a bit weak but all in all it is a very fine smoke. - Submitted by wesciante on May 1, 2007

Review #159: My first cigar was a Montecristo 4, that was 1996 of which I feel I still conjur the full flavour and aroma of about the 8th pull to this day! Of course every successive cigar and cigar moment since has been most memorable. I was gifted a box of these by a Mohawk friend and mentor who has since gone onto that great humidor in the sky! For me irregardless the quality of the cigar the ambience and company with the cigar is just as important! I have an opened box of these aging right now, and believe me it is torture not to light up! However am confident both the company and moment will arrive soon. Afterall greatness attracts like company! - Submitted by IronBuffalo on April 29, 2007

Review #158: To omilian, Havana cigars these days are sold when they can be unfortunately, and unlike in the past they are not specially matured before sale. You should check the box codes/dates when buying them from a local merchant, always. Maturing cigars will improve the draw to a degree, and burn quality will be greatly improved over time. These can be wonderful cigars but have been losing quality a lot in recent years. I am yet to try '06 samples, but look foreward to it from what I have heard :-) - Submitted by A.
