Review #187: I just got my box of #2s in the mail today. I know you should put them away for at least a year but I was excited to give one a try. Unfortunately, the cigar I grabbed was plugged so I can't really say what they're like. I couldn't even smoke it. I'm going to put the rest away in the humidor and hopefully the next one I try will be better. I will write another review then. Box code SOA JUN 07 - Submitted by tmbtc12 on March 7, 2008

Review #186: This cigar is one of the best ever made. Every time I reach into my humidor for a Monte #2, I know it will be an amazing, and eventful smoke to the end. I love the #4 as well, but nothing tops the #2. So much consistency here. Buying a box of these will serve you well! Aging Montecristos will make them that much better. Smoked a Monte #2 last night, when I was done I had the best sleep I have had in 10 years. Keep them coming - Submitted by getbig3624 on February 26, 2008

Review #185: I have to agree with reviewer 184, a good batch of Monte #2 is hard to top. Seems like 07 was a good year for Montecristo in general but especially the #2's. The flavor, strength and draw are top notch. I've heard from the "island" that 08 will be a good year also. - Submitted by barcelona on February 18, 2008

Review #184: When you get a good batch, these are some of the best cigars out there. I have had many of these cigars. The only problem is their inconsistency--a result of mass production. Got a 15-pack recently from August 07 and even this young, they are great smokes. A powerhouse from the first puff, the flavor evolves in strength and flavor to include a wonderful mix of spice, cocoa and cream that is nearly perfect. Age will only make them better but this is one Cuban that is great right out of the gates. - Submitted by jsummers157 on February 15, 2008

Review #183: I have only been smoking Cigars for a year now and have been working my way through brands and reviews cigar by cigar. This cigar for me was like that feeling you have when you finally get the punchline to a very sophisticated joke that you thought beyond your scope. It is a true feeling of pleasure in in the understanding of something great. Well balanced, great taste, perfect burn and a great wrapper. The ash held and lastly it looked great. I love this cigar and will fill my humidor with them. Perfect smoke. Everyone should smoke one as it is a true work of art. - Submitted by alexnoble on January 26, 2008
