Review #86: I have smoked the occaisional HME2 over the last 13 years and have found them very consistent and quite unique in flavour and construction. This cigar although fairly mild really is for the aficionado to appreciate as its subleties require an experienced palate. I have read some of the other reviews and dont really agree with many of the flavours that have been accociated with this cigar. I think the fresh vegetal taste you get when they are fresh and first lit is part of their charm and then they slowly evolve into a wonderful complex creaminess. Recommended straight out the box or aged for a short while only. - Submitted by ian on January 11, 2007

Review #85: First time I've tried one of these. Had them bought for me a couple of months ago and decided to leave them in the humi until Christmas. Tried one last night, and was pleasantly surprised how mild and smooth it was but with some spice coming in two thirds the way down. Burn was a little uneven at the start but seemed to settle down. Draw was a little loose for me could have been tighter I agree with reviewer 80, a great cigar with a glass of whisky. Will certainly be buying more of these. - Submitted by bagpuss on December 27, 2006

Review #84: Bought a box of 25 at the Plaza Americana in Varadero in December 2005. Paid 133.75 CUC which is about $7.04 CDN each. This cigar is one of my favourites. It has a mild taste with a hint of spice. Very different from the Monte's. The odd one is bitter at the end but consistantly these are great cigars. I haven't noticed a marked difference in ageing them. I rated the Petit Robusto a 9/10 and would say this is a 8 1/2 out of 10. Just remember that the Hoyo line is like many others. There are good cigars and low end ones. I bought a box of 10 Hoyo Tubos ($4.60 CDN each) at the airport on the way home and they were mediocre at best...something to hand out to friends that don't appreciate a fine cigar ie: "they all taste the same " ! - Submitted by Monaco Mauler on October 18, 2006

Review #83: For me, this cigar has a smooth, creamy and fruity montage of flavours that heavily reminds me of a fruit smoothie in spicy cigar form. Very easy draw, yet sometimes sufferes uneven draw. Most certainly a night-time cigar in my opinion, like a dessert. - Submitted by MikePomery on October 13, 2006
