Review #28: I've noticed from the last box, that these cigars are going down in quality and taste.
I sure hope our postings are read by people who care and can do something about the deline in quality for all Cuban cigars... - Submitted by chilli on August 27, 2004
Review #27: This cigar looked wonderful out of the box. It was a tight, veinlessly crafted cigar. The one I smoked was a recent production because it had a band on it. I was very anxious to try this classic cigar. The light was quick and smooth. The flavor was spicy but not too full. Something, however, went wrong half way through this cigar. I noticed that the wrapper stopped burning and the draw became incredibly tight. I was shocked. - Submitted by college smoker on August 24, 2004
Review #26: Recent production seems a bit underfilled to me. However, tobacco quality has been quite excellent indeed. This is a true classic that I always keep on hand. The best aroma of almost any cigar, these just seem to invite you to smoke them. They have a rich and meaty flavor that may not be appreciated by everyone. But those who do can't seem to get enough. This wonderful robusto has a very loyal following. - Submitted by CoolBurn on August 15, 2004
Review #25: I agree with reviewer #22. Nice aroma, great draw, smooth flavor, perfect burn. An easy going cigar. Very good smoke. - Submitted by BillG on August 12, 2004
Review #24: This robusto is different from the outset. The wrapper is very soft. The scent of it unlit is voluptuous, from a cabinet box of 25, one of which I am half way through. The draw is always perfect on this cigar. I have never had a problem. It is delicate, floral, and also full but seamless at the same time. The flavours are chocolate, nuts even, cream, cream, cream, and earth. The flavours fade in and out, displacing each other, overlapping slightly. Towards the end leather also starts to come through as the bliss crescendos.
Ecstasy, pure opulence! This is the best cigar I have ever consumed. - Submitted by peanutaxis on August 7, 2004
