Review #111: I have to agree with cookj1 here (review 106). My box of JUL 06 is still in its sick period and they seem to take ages to mature tasting acidic and a bit bland. I have smoked many of these cigars now and have decided that their taste is just not for me. Does any one know if the Epicure #2 is now made out of young tobacco nowadays to keep up with global demand? I think I will stick with my famosos! Will give it a 7 as they are getting better now but the first 20 in the box were dire. - Submitted by cjarman on July 12, 2007

Review #110: bought a box dated feb 06 tried a few right away pretty bland...just revisited them the other day... WOW...what a difference, superb tobacco flavors, citrus flavors, perfect burn, high tobacco content ... - Submitted by smores on July 11, 2007

Review #109: IF you can get your hands on 5 yr old cabs, you will not be dissapointed. % yrs is what I think is needed for these to shine. Been smokeing from 2 cabs from 2000 and they are tasty buggers. Light wrappers. Ihave 2 50 ct cabs from 05 and a few newer cabs that I noticed the newer they are the dareker the wrapper, almost maduro. Also the darker the wrapper the less flavor is what I have noticed. This is one that I have as an evry morning cigar - Submitted by habanohal on July 11, 2007

Review #108: I was disappointed with the first No.2 I smoked last week. I tried another one and it is definitely better, but these cigars are still in their sick period. They need more time to mature and recover. This was a good test, however. Lots of fruit, especially citrus, and herbs. I detected cinnamon. I really wasn't sure if my palate was off and so when I read the top review I was pleasantly surprised that my palate was bang on. These flavours aren't generally what I look for in a cigar. This is unlike any other Cuban robusto, in my opinion. There was no spice whatsoever. I like my robustos to make more of an expression. Perhaps these will in a few more years once they settle down. - Submitted by cookj1 on July 10, 2007
