Review #41: Wow, what a great cigar. Spongy to the touch, mine were 2003's and they are smoking very well now. This cigar fills the pallet with creamy smoke with its elastic draw. One of the few cigars that tastes as good as it smells. Not overly powerful, so save it for the afternoon opposed to an after dinner cigar. This cigar was a beauty with its oily wrapper and smooth smooth flavors. Smoked this in Boston, at Cigar Masters on the front couch with a holiday view of Boylston. A really enjoyable cigar, do try. - Submitted by Max on December 23, 2004

Review #40: Just tried my first one from FRH AUG 03 production run, yes they do have the bands on them as #35 has indicated. The flavors are unreal, strong tobacco is the main flavor, with espresso and cocoa, mingled in between. Almost like a new double corona, 03 04 production runs, however these newer ones cannot compair to the cabinets that i have from 00 and 01, they have no bands on and are mellowed out very much. The flavor is identicle to a Double Corona from the same time period, I wonder if they are from double coronas that had bad ends at the foot and were cut down. My friend from cuba said that they do that a lot, they cubans dont waste any thing when it comes to their bread and butter income. - Submitted by YESTAGRANDE on December 16, 2004

Review #39: I've been smoking Epi 2s as my cigar of choice for 3 years ever since I discovered them by accident. Although 2 or 3 in every box has to be thrown away due to blockages in the filler, the oily wrapper and complexity of the tobacco within compensate for this. Having said that, the 'angels' share isnt any worse than that found in other brands. A superb 'anytime' cigar. - Submitted by Z on December 16, 2004

Review #38: I sampled one of these the other day and found what some other reviews mention - the spongey feel with a loose draw - was true. As was the notable change mid-way. If I had been smoking blindfolded I'd have assumed someone had replaced it with a much rougher stogie. Having said that it was alright until that halfway point. - Submitted by Grodo on December 15, 2004

Review #37: Concerning the comment from cigars-review: "are you sure they are originals? We have never seen Epicure with vitola)" in review no:35: I just came back from Havana. I bought a cabinet in the La Corona factory, and it was complete with bands om them. And, they taste exeptionally well! - Submitted by Magnus Lundquist, Sweden on December 13, 2004
