Review #58: There are two options when it comes to the Lusitanias: they are either not for you, or you just can't live without them. It is really a masterpiece (I don't believe in saying it's the best DC because the Hoyo DC and Punch DC are masterpieces themselves). Just the feel of this cigar in your hand makes you feel on top of the world. The one I smoked last Saturday (and just a few hours after smoking a Hoyo Double Corona) at a wedding was still a bit young. Nevertheless that distinct Lusitania taste and smell was there. Full bodied and strong delivered masses of rich tastes to the palate and dense clouds of smoke. Spicy with some harsh woodiness (which wasn't unpleasant but I suspect mellows out with age). If you are after a full-bodied and qualitive smoke search no more. Few last words: AGE THEM and you will not regret it. - Submitted by PDL on November 27, 2006
Review #57: I read a lot of peole have had bad experiences with the Partags Lusi. When rolled properly and aged properly, it is one of the best smoking experiences one can imagine. Completely different as anyone knows from other cigars. The Lusi is dark and spicy, hinting at other flavors, but whatever. It is a damn good smoke when it is well taken care of. Enjoy! - Submitted by Rich Golodner on November 16, 2006
Review #56: I find the Lusitania a bit bland. Spongy, wheaty, OK draw. But have smoked two recently from a May 2006 box and don't think it's likely aging will add taste but gonna try. Previous experience with this cigar was similarly disappointing. Not at all a bad cigar, but maybe just not for me. I prefer Montes, SLRs and Hoyos. - Submitted by carld on November 12, 2006
Review #55: Without a doubt, this has got to be one of my favourites - a good smoke all the way to the end. I found it quite a different smoke from the cohiba's i am used to, and you can really taste the wood around the middle. Cohiba's are still the brand with which I most associate with, but the Lusitanias is the best of the Partagas. It seems to suit any mood and apart from that, it looks bloody amazing! Review #54: My box from 2003 is almost gone so I ordered another box from 06. This one is still a little young and needs some aging but has the making of another great partagas. It has a good draw and an even burn. It starts of medium bodied and becomes more full in the middle. It's complex and gets spicier at the end. - Submitted by jn-888 on September 23, 2006
