Review #38: Great pre-lit aroma, and even better lit aroma. Immediately felt the strong taste. Perfect burn, perfect ash. Toward the ending it got very hot and strong. Over all an extremely good cigar, probably one of the top 5 ive ever smoked. - Submitted by Pedro on November 6, 2005
Review #37: I finally took out this empress from a box that I had delivered to my home early this year and has been in the box now for about 6-8 months. When I openend the box the cigars had a lot of plume - a very good sign! So I prepared the evening for a fantastic smoke. Draw was perfect, robust throughout, balanced flavours through tiers 1-3. Superb! Par excellence toujours. - Submitted by kcgreg on October 23, 2005
Review #36: Cabinet selection: construction is excellent, a little spongy but with nice resistance on the draw. Extremely buttery and creamy, chock full of beany flavours (vanilla-mocha). The depth is tremendous, with enough complexity to remain interesting without becoming confusing. The richness is impressive, like taking a spoonful of clotted cream and white chocolate with each draw. This is by no means an elegant cigar, but rather one brimming with richness and flavour that begs overindulgence. - Submitted by The Privateer on July 20, 2005
Review #35: I finally found enough time to finally try one of these huge cigars. This cigar was perfectly contructed despite its tigher draw(could just be my preference). I found the smoke to be medium bodied with a woody overtone and exceptionally creamy for a cuban cigar. I really enoyed the cigar and the aroma was amazing, but I found it somewhat one dimentional. It was a great smoke, but it could use more complexity, maybe more age in my humidor will bring out more flavor. - Submitted by UFSig on June 1, 2005
Review #34: I \"prepared\" myself for the encounter with this empress of all big havanas. The first one I\'ve smoked some months ago was too green, so the flavors were untamed and, somehow, in a sort of a conflict. But, after six months in my humidor, the second one was a hit! This is, IMHO, THE perfect cigar. Perfectly constructed, excellent draw, good burn. And the taste! And the aftertaste! Most of all, I enjoyed the balance between strength (it\'s a \"Partagas\", don\'t forget this!) and smoothness. Truly amazing. Any serious smoker should try this smoke. - Submitted by Razvan Voncu on April 15, 2005
