Partagas Lusitanias Review:
If we have called some of the Habanos "kings" of their brand, we are now facing one which many smokers catalogue as the best cigar they have ever smoked or more generally, ever made. Changes have been made since this stick first saw light, becoming milder with earthy and peppery flavours. Anyway, it is probably the best habano in the whole world.

Review #79: Got a box of these on a recent trip to cuba. I have to say these are a mighty fine example of what a cuban cigar should be. Lit perfectly the burn just kept correcting itself the whole way down. Ash held for over an inch.first part of cigar was as cool as a cucumber with hints of caramel coffee and coco followed by a spicy peppery stage then back to an almost honey type sweetness seemed to change by every inch smoked. Recommend these to any serious habano fan! - Submitted by the godfather on December 7, 2007
Review #78: I have smoked many different cigars in the past, and this one always sticks out in my mind as among the most memorable. The most recent example was early '07. Rich flavors, quality through and through. Smooth, aromatic and sophisticated right down to the nub. Even got a compliment from a woman who usually doesn't like the smell of cigars! - Submitted by mr-paganini on October 28, 2007
Review #77: I am not a big fan of this smoke. I just don't feel that it is a good representative of the flavors of Partagas. The construction is also at times suspect with this size. Aromatic yes, but very light in the flavor department. I feel that the Punch DC offers more consistent construction and delivers more flavor. - Submitted by fabio on October 28, 2007
Review #76: I just finished a Lusi from an ENE07 box. Without question, this shows the best potential of any I've had since mid-2003. As strong as I would want a Lusi to be, with rich, complex flavors, and a nice peppery finish. Well worth a cab purchase, IMO. - Submitted by shrink on October 22, 2007
Review #75: There is always present a special feeling when I'm reaching for Lusitanias in my humidor. They are truly nice looking cigars with reddish wrapper and flawless draw. First from the box (PUT JUL 06) was definitely too young for my taste but I wanted to try her in this period of her life nevertheless that I prefer more matured cigars. This Lusitania was kicking and jumping with tastes of paper, earth and leather but never became too harsh. This is definitely young cigar which will become a true gem in three to four years. Cuban production from 2006 is really amazing. Right now I’m purchasing cigars from 2006 nevertheless that there are more matured in the market. - Submitted by Diademo on October 15, 2007
