Review #28: WOW W0W. 3 hours in heaven! - Submitted by Actionhost on February 27, 2005
Review #27: Finally opened a box from 1985 production. The wrappers are still oily and shiney and very toothy with lots of bloom on the top layer. What a treat the prelight aromas are classic cuban partagas. The overwelming scent of strong tobacco is dominant, intermingle strong choclolate and espresso, with a touch of pecans and this is true bliss. The first few puffs are a signal of what is to come, a one of a kind unique flavor and aroma that only a 20 year old cigar can produce. The ash is pure white with some dark marbeling, the ash was almost 2 inches long before i knocked it off. I purchased these cigars in spain in 1985 in early march, when i was there on business. I purchased 10 boxes, with the idea of reselling them for profit. For some reason i never sold any of them and placed them unopened in the back shelf in my walk in humidor and forgot about them until now. What a surprise when i opened the first box, what a treat when i lit the first one. I know they are from 1985 because thats the year i got married, and on our honey moon in France

Review #26: An aristocrat of a smoke! The finest Partagas cigar, and probably the best Prominente of all. Wonderful, full flavors of sweet wood, earth and cocoa. Medium bodied but develops in strength right up to a rich and spicy finish, with a savory aftertaste. Mine are from an April 04 box - ready to enjoy now, surprisingly balanced and smooth. What a delightful way to spend a couple of hours! Cigar heaven... - Submitted by shrink on February 15, 2005

Review #24: Smoked my Lusitania while a friend and I visited a nightclub in Caracas. A stunning Venezuelan brunette sat down next to me and the next two hours were "heaven on earth." I said to my friend, "This is incredible!" He said, "Yeah, she is very beautiful." I said, "No, I mean this cigar. It's incredible." - Submitted by JR on January 28, 2005
