Review #53: DEC 07 I totally agreed with review 52, it was a surprise for me that the young No2 is so good and ready to smoke. The construction and draw was perfect and i like the new band, no one will mistake it for a Monty No2. The cigar is strong but never harsh, with a full range of taste from dark chocolate to leather. An a good surprise to me was the ash was so white, you would have mistake it for a well aged cigar. - Submitted by pak on May 19, 2008
Review #52: DEC 07 Very fresh box - wrappers medium colour and very blotchy. Smoked 3 so far first 2 very strong but after just one day in the humidor the 3rd was delicious. The draw on all 3 was very easy. I never am able to keep cigars for long and am interested if anyone can tell me if the blotchy wrappers even out to a uniform colour in time.
Aside from the appearence I recommend these. - Submitted by ian on May 18, 2008
Review #51: Enjoyed several sticks while on vacation in Pto Vallarta - nice even burn, just the right draw and the flavor! Cocoa, spice, and a hint of cedar; sublime. - Submitted by RKS on April 15, 2008
Review #50: Just got a Box from Nov '07. i'm disappointed as hell. No flavor, no complexity......just bland with a slight jint of pepper on the palate.
I'm really tired of hearing all the bullshit about how cigars have to rest for a hundred friggin years before they are smokable.
They roll them and market them in reatil cigar stores thruout Europe for what reason?? To sit in some schmuck's humidor for 5 years? NO!!!
All the hype about Cuban cigars is just that......hype.
IMHO....buy a Padron. The sticks are ready to go out of the box......as it should be.
Padron blows the Cubans away. Stop the brainwashed bullshit......"let it rest" mantra.

Review #49: It is mid-January here in Vancouver,BC, Canada, -2C.
Cold for us this time of year.
I am outside, warm, under my propane heater. (not my igloo as some seem to think?!)
Just finished my first #2 with a Lemon Hart rum and I am very impressed!
I consider myself a seasoned cuban smoker and I found my experience different from the reviews here.
I found the cigar to have a unique, almost buttery quality with the occasional note of true pepper (not the pepper some describe/mistake as bitter).
Good to excellent right to the bitter end.
I called my supplier right away and ordered a box!
