APR 07 The first time I smoked a #2 I was carring a package and realized to late that it was a bad set-up for smoking a Piramide. When I got a few blocks from my house I set the parcels down and looked at the only cargo worth the trip, a beautiful brown leaf rolled and burning between my fingers with a perfect white ash holding on for dear life. I gathered myself, took another draw, and that was all it took for me to realize I was smoking one of the best cigars I have had the pleasure to encounter. I don't need to hit you with the details, many a review will list the flavors and specs of this Cuban gift. But, I will say that if you can afford a single #2 or a box, give it a try. The Upman 2 is a cigar that needs to be experienced. So, if you enjoy cigars as much as the rest of us fools, don't let this one pass you by. - Submitted by johnydraw on May 22, 2009

Construcciòn impecable. Ligeramente esponjoso al tacto. Olor en frio: Madera y vegetal con notas dulces. 1/3 - De arrancada sabor muy intenso con recuerdos a cedro y otras maderas muy dulces, con notas vegetales y amargas, para poco despues emerger multitud de matices: Heno, cuero, galleta, canela, notas terrosas y saladas...Aroma amaderado. Combustiòn perfecta: lenta pero intensa. Fortaleza media - alta. 2/3 - Sabores intensos, muy por encima de los aromas, con predominio de cedro dulce y galletas , con matices de cafè, chocolate negro y hierba hùmeda. Fortaleza alta. Ceniza negra y muy consistente. 3/3 - Predominio de recuerdos a cafè con notas vegetales. Se pierde la complejidad de los matices antes descritos. Un señor puro con multitud de sabores (a excepciòn de los cremosos) que van discurriendo a lo largo de las casi 2 horas de fumada. Espectacular. JUL 06 These cigars are really coming good now with loads of thick woodsy leather and spices. A very different flavour profile from the Monte 2, both excellent cigars it just depends on your mood.
