Review #98: SEP 08 To my previous review - two years maturation definitely improved the taste. Woody , creamy earthiness, more spice then the latter. Draw OK, burn need touch-up. - Submitted by kml on September 26, 2011

Review #97: Solid, solid, solid. I gave this a 9 but would really have preferred an 8.5. Well constructed with a perfect draw. The taste was pure Cuban earthiness with just a trace of pepper. It was smooth all the way. Lots of rich smoke. a very enjoyable cigar. My only complaint is that there was a lack of complexity throughout the stick. It tasted great, but it was the same taste for the whole smoke. Anyway, a very solid cigar and one I would smoke anytime. Very nice. - Submitted by AlphaWolf on June 26, 2011

Review #96: ---   I totally agree with Review#95. I got my torpedo sampler pack which includes, H.Upmann #2, Monte #2, VR Unicos, Diplo #2 and Partagas P#2. So far, i have smoked 4 of them beside Partagas #2. If i give them scores, the best one was exactly, H. Upmann #2. Sampler pack came to me without boxes and details so i don't know how old they are but i guess not more than 2 years. Beside H.Upmann the other ones need lots of aging. Unicos had its own characterized flavour, i loved it but better to see with some aging. The others' flavours were so stable and simple. Totally they need aging. I look forward to try the Partagas #2 then i will decide which one is the best as without aging much. So as a cigar smoker who has one medium sized desktop humidor, i don't have the opportunity to age my cigars. So far, H.Upmann is my favourite torpedo. - Submitted by IcaruSabrI on December 21, 2010

Review #95: JUN   I dove right into my new box of Upmann No.2's as soon as they arrived by Post. These are spanking new, Jun 2010 box date, but I could not resist temptation. Toasted spice, dried fruit, and a bite of pepper in the last third. Draw was excellent, the burn needed a few touch-ups through the journey, but all in all a delightful hour-plus smoke. I think very different than the Monte No.2. I have a box of 10 Partagas No. 2 that are untested that will also be a pleasurable comparison to this excellent cigar. If I do not go wild and smoke this entire box of H-2's in the next month, it will be great to see how they fare with some age to them. - Submitted by Gary Price on November 9, 2010

Review #94: SEP 01 Not a big Upmann fan, but love a well aged #2. Cigars from this box have been consistantly strong, with earth & leather flavors. Very nice. - Submitted by Bassman on May 28, 2010
