Review #43: I dont know what some people's problem is with the draw of this cigar, i have smoked about a dozen of them now and the draw is fine. I had previously tried a machine made and hand finished version before this which did have draw problems, but the fully hand made ones are perfect. Its the sort of cigar that i recommend to my friends as a beginner or even a casual cigar. i enjoyed it thoroughly. - Submitted by cammy_g on January 29, 2008
Review #42: A very good value. Not overly complex, but a good honest cigar to reach for when you want a good smoke but are a bit indecisive. All Cuban flavor, appearance and burn were spot on, and no draw problems with the several I have smoked from this box dated Sep 07. These are going to have a permanent home in my humidor. - Submitted by pberzk on January 28, 2008
Review #41: I had one dated Sep 2007. Excellent construction and draw, beautiful wrapper. Heavy tobacco taste, with a salty aftertaste. Medium to strong, it could be good for smoking outdoors. It was smooth down to the last third, when it started to become harsh. As the description indicates, I suspect ageing would be very beneficial. If you like that "typical cuban tobacco" taste, you must try this one. - Submitted by titobueno76 on January 11, 2008
Review #40: Most of the reviews already mentioned the draw so I'll just chip in by saying mine was firm but acceptable. Prelight aroma was slightly salty and woody. Upon lighting, the most prominent flavour was that of burnt sugar - very pleasant. Overall detected notes of biscuit, tobacco and the pervading light sweetness and a acceptable level of spiciness. Very enjoyable. This one had good volumes of smoke and needs to be smoked cool. - Submitted by dizzyling on January 5, 2008
Review #39: My box code is USE JUN 07. And let me start off by saying great presentation! Love the new tubes and bands. I have seen lots of people say their draw was uber tight or pluged.Well I have smoked several so far and have not had one issue yet and I am real picky about my draw. The draw is firm but I have been getting big clouds of smoke. I think the issue is people are smoking them at to high a humidity and the tubes only further this. See when the cigars are fresh rolled they are somewhat wet and the tobacco seems sticky then they put in a tube and it never drys out a bit. I took all the tops off the tubes and let them sit out and let the cigars breath for a couple days. This will do wonders for the flavor and draw as when the tobacco is wet it expands and when lit creates bitter steam. I am very pleased with my box and burn flavor and draw are great. The flavor is fairly complex for this model and very Upmann. I got these for a quick morning smoke with my coffee and wont break the bank I got them for $ 111.47 US from Spain and I they will serve their purpose very well! I do recommend these fine smokes!
