Review #28: Great cigar when they draw good. Problem is 80% of the cigars in the last two boxes I had did not draw good. A real shaame because tobacco is fabulous and strong like I like but will pay a bit more for a better manufactured Cuban next order. - Submitted by Johnny on January 6, 2007
Review #27: Almost done with my second box. When they draw good there's no better Cuban going. Strong and powerful. Problem is though that only 20% had good draw... 80% were packed too tight and filler seemed too be sticky! Will probably not order again because although fabulous taste too many had bad draw. Will spend a bit more to asure better quality cigar.. Will pay a bit more for Bolivars as they are also strong but better contruction. - Submitted by Johnny on January 5, 2007
Review #26: An excellent little cigar and a superb way to spen half to three quarters of an hour. The vitola possesses the classic Upman profile. While not the most complex cigar, it is solid medium in strength with hints of woodsy flavor and undertones of honey and nuts. Construction is always spot on. I have gone through several boxes from the 04-06 period and thy all tasted and smoked wonderfuly. Somke 'em with confidence gentlemen. - Submitted by knuck42 on December 26, 2006
Review #25: I just bought a box marked Oct '05. Certainly a classy looking package which I've seen around for a long time since I used to smoke the Dominican version before they changed the tube. The cigar needs a bit more aging but is not bad right now after the first half inch. I've smoked five so far and the body is medium, the draw is very good and there were a few soft spots but nothing to complain about. The flavor has a nice cedar character and a bit of complexity with a very light finish. The cigar does have a tendency to burn a little hot toward the end. For the money, though, it's a tasty little smoke with the bonus of a tubo which makes it very versatile to carry around. I would definitely buy them again. - Submitted by John Smith - NJ on September 11, 2006
Review #24: Excellent cigar, the taste is great and the aroma too, unfortunately the draw was so tight I couldn't enjoy it that much, maybe it was just this one but I actually had trouble keeping it lit while on the first third, I just kept sucking but very little smoke got through, 2nd half was ok (plain ok) after it heated. I might try another one hoping for the draw not to be as tight because as I said before, taste and aroma are very enjoyable, with the correct draw I might be willing to give it another star. - Submitted by Mithras on April 13, 2006
