Review #6: These are a truly excellent mareva and IMO the one to buy if you like your cigars clad in aluminium! Upmann generally have a reputatation for mildness but although these are not the strongest mareva's they certainly have plenty of body and flavour. My beleief is that this marque has become stronger in recent times. I'd say that they're almost full bodied and certainly medium flavoured. Strong hints of cocoa and earth and a certain touch of pepper on the tounge. A really first class cigar. - Submitted by willisoften on April 3, 2004

Review #5: Hmmm, nice flavours with a mild-medium body, however they burn very hot after the first inch. I had to re-light a couple of times too. I dislike that greatly in a cigar. - Submitted by A. Dyer on March 1, 2004

Review #4: Ever been in finnish "sauna" 85 celcius degrees? You dont, try these peppery Cuban and you are sweatening like after 10 mile hiking. I thing thesese heaters are for vets with stainless steel palates. I'll try the next I am not so rookie anymore! - Submitted by rookie on February 28, 2004

Review #3: Outstanding, delicious mareva. Lots of H.Upmann flavor all along, sort of a baby Epicure no. 2. Impecable construction and consistance. Don't miss it! - Submitted by Estrella on February 25, 2004

Review #2: Cuban Export to USSR. This oldi draw well and burn very slowly. Soft Mocca taste. Brilliant 16 years old Mareva(handmade in Jose Martin factory 1988) cigar. - Submitted by Stope on December 8, 2003
