Review #26: An excellent little cigar and a superb way to spen half to three quarters of an hour. The vitola possesses the classic Upman profile. While not the most complex cigar, it is solid medium in strength with hints of woodsy flavor and undertones of honey and nuts. Construction is always spot on. I have gone through several boxes from the 04-06 period and thy all tasted and smoked wonderfuly. Somke 'em with confidence gentlemen. - Submitted by knuck42 on December 26, 2006

Review #25: I just bought a box marked Oct '05. Certainly a classy looking package which I've seen around for a long time since I used to smoke the Dominican version before they changed the tube. The cigar needs a bit more aging but is not bad right now after the first half inch. I've smoked five so far and the body is medium, the draw is very good and there were a few soft spots but nothing to complain about. The flavor has a nice cedar character and a bit of complexity with a very light finish. The cigar does have a tendency to burn a little hot toward the end. For the money, though, it's a tasty little smoke with the bonus of a tubo which makes it very versatile to carry around. I would definitely buy them again. - Submitted by John Smith - NJ on September 11, 2006

Review #24: Excellent cigar, the taste is great and the aroma too, unfortunately the draw was so tight I couldn't enjoy it that much, maybe it was just this one but I actually had trouble keeping it lit while on the first third, I just kept sucking but very little smoke got through, 2nd half was ok (plain ok) after it heated. I might try another one hoping for the draw not to be as tight because as I said before, taste and aroma are very enjoyable, with the correct draw I might be willing to give it another star. - Submitted by Mithras on April 13, 2006

Review #23: Recently received my first box of Majors,,box code ECA Oct 02 and am in complete agreement with Review #12,,,this is a dynamo of a Mareva,,and such a value when considering the high cost of getting authentic Habanos delevered to your doorstep. I'm a big fan of the Boli Petite,,and the Punch Selection #12,,and as much as I love those smokes,,this one doesn't have to take a back seat to any of these,,including the Monti #4. As soon as I finish here,,am headed to my vendor and ordering two more boxes. This is an everyday great Habano that I can afford to please myself with daily. A bargain,,and one of those once in awhile discoveries that makes one smile. - Submitted by Ted/Ohio on February 8, 2006

Review #22: This is a great cigar, especially for the money. I agree with review #18 in saying that this Mareva is a hard call between it and the Monte 4. The flavor is complex with cocoa, leather, and some hints of dusty cedar. This is really a fine cigar and that fact that it comes as a tubo makes it highly portable for being on the go. - Submitted by PLGREEK on December 21, 2005
