Review #38: Overall good cigar. not for people who like strong cigars.boxes of 25 seem to have lighter wraper color and more tight and likely pluuged compared to cigars from boxes of 50 (no bands). mild for most of the smoke, not harsh with a nice earthy non better cuban flavour. great for bigenners. great early smoke. - Submitted by Almajed on September 29, 2005
Review #37: I got a box of these bad boys for my wedding and handed them out to my groomsmen. Now I wish I hadn\'t!!This is one fine cigar with great flavours that coat the palate and change afew times.A few from this box have had a slightly tight draw but nothing to complain about.Enjoy these with your favourite libation.I will be, as it is going to be my anniversary smoke. - Submitted by Dacrusha on May 6, 2005
Review #36: Smoked my first one while walking 18 holes...that was a mistake. Fantastic cigar but better suited for not much energy needs to be exuted. It kinda wiped me out a little. A lot of liguero leaf and loads of flavor, sweet, little spice mostly up front, and almost a cedary aroma. Overall....fantastic cigar and the next time i light one up im buying the friggin cart. - Submitted by mprach on April 4, 2005
Review #35: Factory Code: ARA Date: Oct \'01
First Hoyo Double Corona for me. I was expecting a lot from these famous smokes. However a VERY tight wrap, made these hard to draw, in fact almost impossible. Nice flavour, I think I prefer the Monte flavour overall but these are nice and I can see why people love them, just a matter of preference. However, the tight draw is an issue I note from other reviewers - are these ALWAYS this tight? If so, it will be my first and last box. - Submitted by peter bond on March 30, 2005
Review #34: Smoked a double c. from a '01 cabinet. Absolutely fantastic, cut crisp, felt even all down the length and was very fragrant unlit. Once lit it oozed out creamy and tasty smoke, Hoyo cigars generally have that beautiful mellow floral flavour and the double c. is the master. Just gets tastier as it draws down. Mellow, floral, cocoa, very creamy tobacco flavours. Only reason that I've taken half a star off is that it became increasingly hot and acidic from the last 2.5 inches which was surprising, but it's so huge it didn't bother me much. - Submitted by A.
