Review #35: A good friend and I each lit one of these the other night to see for ourselves what all the fuss was about. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed these cigars!! The Robusto Extra's 50 ring gauge is a tad larger than I prefer but I will certainly not let that disuade me from keeping this in the regular rotation. Simply superb. Review #33: had a Trinidad Robusto Extra on 09/01/06,
it has a consistent light-bodied creamy flavor. At the middle, it changes to a fuller woody scent while still retaining a creamy aftertaste. Towards the end, the spiciness was also very subtle. A very smooth smoke where the draw is excellent, just like Montecristo Robusto LE 2001. Compared to Cohiba Siglo V, it has a much lighter smoke. A final impression on the Robusto Extra is its very creamy taste it leaves on your tastebud while maintaining a smooth draw.
