Review #110: I've smoked three from a 7/06 box and, oddly, the best of the three -- a sheer delight -- was one smoked upon arrival only 9 months from box date. The last of the three seemed a bit too loose. But on average, still a dependably fine smoke with a flavor profile maybe midway between an SLR Rego or PSD 4 and something a bit richer like a Monte4. Giving it a solid 8. - Submitted by carld on July 11, 2007
Review #109: also to reviewer 107, the RASS is my personal favorite of all, I've gone through 6 boxes in the last 11 months, mostly POS factory and from 06 and some of the labels are bright metallic gold and a few boxes came out a darker matte gold with strong embossing, the metallic seem at times offset, the labels wont be the same all the time for this brand and many other brands do to ink variations that use this type of inking and embossing style. with the different labels all of my RASS's have all been the same true perfect tabacco that has never dissapointed me, today I received a box of RAG (Gigantes) Pos NOV 06 I will try one tonight as I always try a few as soon as I get them! - Submitted by wheelinco on July 9, 2007
Review #108: To reviewer 107, it always happens; print colour, sizes and even the design on the ring itself all change slightly. I have a few Punch Churchills tubos bought for me from Selfridges Cigar Humidor that doesn't look anything like the normal Punch label. As far as RAASS goes, just tried my first friom a box dated DIC 06. Very nice, but will be better for sure in the next few months. Not as good as the RASSCs which have been sitting about in my humidor for the past 18 months. Still love them tho'.. - Submitted by XBO on July 8, 2007
Review #107: A SOLID CIGAR FULL FLAVOR AND LOTS OF MUSK. ALSO THE PRICE POINT IS GREAT! BUT I DO HAVE TO SAY I STILL PREFER HOYO AND ROMEO. I BOUGHT A BOX FROM PURO ONLINE DATE ON BOX MAR 06 AND A CURIOUS ABOUT THE FACT THE LABLES ARE NOT THE SAME AS ALL THE OTHER R.A.S.S I HAVE SMOKED. THE COLOR OF THE RING AROUND SHEILD IS DARKER ANF THE SHEILD NOT AS MUCH DETAIL. I HAVE USED PURO MANY TIMES AND WOULD BE WAY CONFUESED IF NOT LIGETT. THEY TAST LIKE EVERY OTHER R.A.S.S I HAVE EVER SMOKED A LITTLE LESS FLAVOR BUT THEY ARE VERY YOUNG. DOES ANYONE KNOW OR HAVE SEEN A FLUCUATION IN LABLE QUALITY? - Submitted by sticksmoker on June 27, 2007
Review #106: Good solid inexpensive robusto. Pretty mild which is what I want in morning or early afternoon without cocktail. Almost box pressed, and a little too soft for my liking, but the taste was smooth. I rank 3rd in Robusto after Cohiba, and epi 2. Still havent tried JL 2 though. Box was from sep 06 so take that into consideration as well. - Submitted by cubanstogie on June 24, 2007
