Ramon Allones Specially Selected Review:

Very good "Robusto" cigar, as good as those of the old times, maybe because we can still appreciate the perfectly balanced flavours of nuts, honey sweetness or herbal flavours. The minimum ageing recommended for this cigar is at least three years. Strength 3/5.

Review #259: Excellent robusto. - Submitted by Partagaz on May 11, 2019

Review #258: April 2018 When these are on which is most of the time you have the best smoke imaginable - even when only a year old. Have noticed a return to the stewed fruit profile in recent batches. Personally I am delighted as have been chasing this for ages. These cigars stand out from all others when they have this element - easy to smoke for a quite full bodied robusto 9.5 - Submitted by ian on March 2, 2019

Review #257: MAR 16 Love these cigars. Especially from the 50 cab.., strong but smooth and creamy...Stewed fruit, sweet hay and fine leather. 9.5/10 - Submitted by Cigsid on January 25, 2019

Review #256: FEB   FEB 16 [this site needs to update it's box date selection as it still only goes up to 2014..] The Specially Selected is often absolutely excellent, and these were a prime example. Very rich, strong, full flavoured and delicious from the first light. Complex coffee bean, cocoa, sweet leather and hints of herbal and creamy qualities with lashings of mineral saltiness. Only 2 years old and they already are developing a magnificent mustiness also. The strength builds slowly from med-full to very full in the final third, as well as developing more exotic spice. These had a perfect, slightly firm draw giving off thick mouthfuls of smoke. Exquisite Havanas which can age beautifully for decades. - Submitted by A. Dyer on January 27, 2018

Review #255: Very good Robusto, even if too strong for me. Prefer medium or mild cigars; but must recognize that the taste of a RASS is different from anything else and, also, an entertaining experience. - Submitted by Heinrich on October 31, 2016
