Review #54: Had one last night, with some cheap italian wine. Thank goodness for the sweet montepulciano! Started out extremely harsh and dry, no matter how softly I drew - I still have a dry mouth a day later. A very sharp contrast to the divine soft sweetness of my last RyJ Short Churchill. No obvious construction flaws. Obviously a problem with this one (maybe a tad dehydrated?), will reserve final judgement til the rest of the 5pack have had a few more months in the humidor. - Submitted by frenchkiwi on July 7, 2007

Review #53: very good cigar for a quick smoke, about 15 to 20 minutes or so, like all montecristo it has its trademark woody, earthy and bit spicy flavor not outstanding but still a good cigar when in a hurry - Submitted by Simon M on July 4, 2007

Review #52: This cigar could be called "Old Faithful" because it's always reliable and is very pleasant to the palate for such a quick smoked. I can smoke these within half an hour, but I'd prefer to take my time and enjoy the flavours. The flavours are very balanced yet it does smoke medium. The draw is excellent and the construction is always flawless. There are some sweet notes, but not too sweet. ...just enough to lip your lips for more. This is an excellent cigar to add to your work humidor. It's as good as the Cohiba Siglo I or even better, and cheaper too. - Submitted by cookj1 on May 30, 2007

Review #51: This was a wonderfull little cigar, I got mainly woody notes from it with a bit of sweetness, what I really enjoyed about this cigar was the perfect draw just full of smoke, while they are a bit pricey for a cigar this size they are nonetheless very tasty. - Submitted by Gillette on May 15, 2007

Review #50: In my time crunched world, Montecristo No. 5 rules. MC5 is my go-to smoke, currently. It is smooth, medium to full flavored. MC5 draws like a dream, good smoke volume. More boxes will be bought... - Submitted by HUC on May 7, 2007
