In sunny SINGAPORE. I agree whole-heartedly with #64. I had one for lunch with a hot chocolate (not the best drink, I know, but I was at a kopitiam), and from the first proper puff, I was enthralled all the way. The draw was perfect, with just the right effort needed, like sucking a milkshake. The flavour was a spicy coffee-cocoa for most of the first half, and got more mild towards the second half, where the trademark fruity Montecristo taste came out in full force. I enjoyed it all the way, up to the point where it got to about six centimeters, when I had to let it go. A few cigarette smokers who were with me commented on the pleasant aroma of my smoke, which I am quite proud of. Lasted a good 25 minutes, perfect for my short lunch break. AUG 07 Bought a box in Veradaro in April (AGO07 code) and have managed to smoke 10 or so from it so far. Excellent construction with a range of wrapper colors that extended to almost maduro dark for 2 of the 25. Only 1 out of that 10 has been a less than perfect draw. The offender was a bit tight, nearly plugged but it relaxed in the last half. Excellent cigar for those spots in your day where you have a half hour to spend with a smoke. Pre-light was subtle and leathery. First third I found peppery and a bit harsh for my taste. Passing the halfway mark evened things out a bit and I found it to be very pleasant with nutty and coffee flavors abounding. An excellent example of the MC flavor. The last third packed a punch and the nicotine rush was substantial, more than I expected from such a small stick. All in all, I see myself replacing this box with more MC #5's.
