Review #74: This is a fine smoke: Classic flavour, spicey, great draw - everything Monte always delivers, but in a shorter timespan. - Submitted by baobab on February 18, 2009

Review #73: Tried two of these last week. To be honest, I found this cigar to be a bit harsh and sour towards the middle. However, the scent was very pleasant. Another issue that I had with this cigar is the construction. Both of them had knots that caused an uneven burn. The flavour is very woody and earthy in my opinion. All in all, a great strong short smoke, but not my favourite. - Submitted by ATK63 on February 16, 2009

Para ver fotos:http://elpurohabano.blogspot.com/ - Submitted by rafa on January 31, 2009

Review #71: APR 04 Not too many reviews by me here, so you KNOW I love this one. Monte #5 is, to me, the best cigar out of Havana, OK, top 5. Such intense flavors of tea, tangy spice, citrus and coffee. I am not one who says it's length is a problem, I LIKE the shorter vitolas. I ruin a good many cigars by smoking too fast, I guess I want them to be over on MY time and terms. Can't do it like that. The Monte 5 always satisfies, I like it's round shape from card packs the best, but I'll take a pressed one, too. Best part is that when they are done smoking, so am I, usually. A true aficionado should always have at least 4 boxes on hand. - Submitted by OLS on January 28, 2009

Review #70: DEC 08 What a great cigar when you don't have the time for a missle. I also love the No. 4 in the winter, especially when the wife isn't in the mood for "indoor cloud cover." Good draw and burn, this is a quick trip to Habana with good taste and a easy pull. - Submitted by johnydraw on January 19, 2009
