Review #22: I have just finished a box of 25 from 1999. This cigar never really struck a chord with me throughout the years, which is probably why it took me 6 years to smoke through the box. Construction and appearence is nice, with the only drawback being a slightly tight draw. The characteristics of this cigar are light to medium bodied with lots of dry characteristcs. Some peppery spice, but excessively woody for my tastes with not too much else to back it up or balance it out. Did not deliver the satisfaction I look for in a cigar. - Submitted by HABANO DUDE on May 20, 2006
Review #21: medium bodied, even burn with a very nice draw. lots of earthly flavors, hazelnut and coffee. I just could not put it down to the last inch. great cigar for the price. - Submitted by jn-888 on May 6, 2006
Review #20: This is infact a very good cigar. Beautifully constructed, a good draw. Mild in comparasin with it's Cuban peers, yes; complex, and flavorful, absolutely. As the term "complex" seems to be the somewhat pedestrian catch-all description for all high quality palete pleasing items, I will elaborate...
After properly lighting, you will notice a mild, spicy smoke. Allowing the aroma to dwell on the tongue you will agree that this product has a distinct flavor. This joy is maintained throughout the cigar until the last third when the strength does crescendo. This will satisfy the anticipation of any smoker who is enjoying an alcoholic beverage at the time.
Perfect for the beginner, and polished enough for the seasoned afficionado. - Submitted by on February 4, 2006
