Review #20: This is infact a very good cigar. Beautifully constructed, a good draw. Mild in comparasin with it's Cuban peers, yes; complex, and flavorful, absolutely. As the term "complex" seems to be the somewhat pedestrian catch-all description for all high quality palete pleasing items, I will elaborate... After properly lighting, you will notice a mild, spicy smoke. Allowing the aroma to dwell on the tongue you will agree that this product has a distinct flavor. This joy is maintained throughout the cigar until the last third when the strength does crescendo. This will satisfy the anticipation of any smoker who is enjoying an alcoholic beverage at the time. Perfect for the beginner, and polished enough for the seasoned afficionado. - Submitted by on February 4, 2006

Review #18: Good cigar. Even draw. Very mild smoke and very consistent flavour. Worth trying! - Submitted by andretracy on January 16, 2006

Review #17: Most of the cigars ive tried were well rolled, although around 4 out of 25 were too tight. The wrapper is smooth, bit veiny. Surprisingly it is a very light cigar, much lighter compared to the no2 or petit robusto. The tastes were quite flat, floral most of the time and bits of green pepper from th second third onwards. I was disappointed by this corona gorda, maybe I had too high expectations considering how much i like the robustos of this series. Feelings of routine, hunger, dissatisfaction... - Submitted by Dimitris in Athens - Greece on September 11, 2005

Review #16: Clipped the cap and examined the wrapper, which was a med Colorado and showed no signs of blemish or flaw. The initial draw was mild nutty tobacco taste. From the first puff, I had mouthful after mouthful of rich creamy smoke that was velvety on my palate. It was complex, changing the subtle direction several times while smoking the Corona Gorda. It was woody, creamy, almost buttery, nutty, herbal, a tad sweet, and somewhat fruity. While the cigar would not be considered a powerhouse, it was more medium in body. I kept saying that it reminded me of the same feelings I have for the H Upmann Mag 46; subtle flavor changes, and richness at the same time. - Submitted by Tampa1257 on April 10, 2005
