Review #161: ---   I will try my best as I am a newbie. An easy going, smooth cigar, spare at last an hour for his Magnum. Good for a lazy afternoon smoke. - Submitted by shs on May 17, 2010

Review #160: ---   Went to Cuba for a trip and unfortunately had one of these on the last night before we left. I wish I would have tried them before I grabbed the other 4 boxes of stogies I brought back. This cigar started out medium with a nice easy draw, great quantity of smoke and rather light woody taste, but at about the last 40% mark the cigar opened up to a deep leathery cedar taste that I could only say was the reason I started smoking cigars. There wasn't a whole lot of complexity change until that point, but when it hit, it was a dream. I am glad it was the last smoke of my trip, it has been in my memory every time I look for more cigars the last 3 months. Highly recommend if you like medium bodied cigars. I rate this about a 9.2 due to the finish, but I am more a fan of full bodied full flavored from the start cigars. This was a single I had picked up so no box date. - Submitted by Fiend05 on April 10, 2010

Review #159: ---   I was disappointed with this cigar, however its still a good cigar. Its packed really tightly (bad) and is really well rolled (good). It is of a quality construction, you realise this especially when you begin smoking it. I think the cigar is good for people with a deep draw (like me) who would normally prefer a thicker ring guage. No character at the beginning of the cigar, just tastes of salt. Mild at this stage due to how tightly packed it is. The cigar simply exploded into creamy flavour around the half way mark. It was quite surprising actually. A slight spice taste developed from the last third onwards while the creaminess gives way a little. Not my cup of tea so to speak, but others will like this cigar. - Submitted by homanahomana on March 9, 2010

Review #158: ---   This was a disappointing cigar in my experience. Ive only tried one at my local cigar bar but it was very salty, stank of ammonia and was almost 'meaty' in flavours. Burn was good, construction was very tight - like they'd tried to bang as much into this cigar as possible. Other flavours may have been present but the saltiness put me off. Box date unknown. - Submitted by fuzzylogic on February 14, 2010

Review #157: JUL 08 I tried my first Mag 46 the other night. Fresh out of the box, it was wonderful. The flavor is not as strong as my Punch Punch, or even as full of defineable notes as the Monte No. 3. Nonetheless it was packed well, drew perfecly and did not require a relight or canoeing correction during the whole hour-plus it took to enjoy. The notes are subtle, and yet this is a very complex cigar. A nice change from the stronger Boli and Partegas that I usually have fired up. These should only get better with age. This one's brothers are taking a long humidor nap as I write. - Submitted by Gary Price on January 29, 2010
