Review #166: ---   I've had six of these in total, from four different boxes, and I haven't encountered one yet without major construction issues. Cracked feet, torn wrappers, unravelling, plugging, uneven burns, you name it. It's a shame, because this cigar is one of the best examples of the Upmann flavours we know and love. It's just too finicky for me to properly enjoy. Great flavours, but a fairly poor cigar overall. - Submitted by tjdavies on October 5, 2010

Review #165: ---   MAR2010 Delicious medium-light bodied cedar somewhat salty beginning, even better spicy pepper chocolate ending. Rich and creamy. I fully agree with review #162. Now for the bad part... packed too tight, poor draw, uneven burn. Relit at least 5 times, every one that I tried. Lasted 1.5 hours, which seems a little long for a cigar of this vitola. Ended up selling the last half of the box, so I don't know the box code, but would definately try another. Still gets an 8 because of the mid-way flavor explosion and complexity. - Submitted by rasta on October 3, 2010

Review #164: ---   One of my absolute GO-TO sticks... I can ALWAYS find myself in the mood for one of these, much like my beloved Monte No. 2s... Have goen through about 2 cabinets and multiple singles so far, and all have been consistent & delicious. Semi-sweet, with woodsy flavors & a slightly sour tangy flavor, like Montecristo's "No." line, but sharper & "crisper", if that makes sense. I did have ONE cabinet of 25 with tight draws on the majority of the sticks in it, but they weren't unsmokeable, just a little bit of a jaw-strecher for the 1st 3rd. They were almost the thickness of a REGULAR corona, but had flawless wrappers & excellent flavor. EVERY OTHER MAG 46 I've had (and there have been quite a few) has been muy excelente... Highly recommended. - Submitted by bimmian on October 1, 2010

Review #163: MAR 08 Had a good weight in the hand, nicely bunched, even through the length, a little firmer at the head. At cold there is barnyard and aged tobacco. The test draw surprised me with milk chocolate, quite distinct. On light up there was just straight new leather over the solid tobacco, some vanilla through the nose. Quite enjoyable so far but needed a relight for no good reason after about half an hour - then pow ! blast after blast of flavour, could not put it down. Needed another relight - no problem I am chasing that flavour and can't get the flame to it quick enough. Beautiful strong Upmann flavour to the last couple cm. A ripper smoke - Submitted by bolivr on August 6, 2010

Review #162: ---   Medium bodied cigar with lots of variation in pepper, cedar and chocolate/cacao. Smoke was rich and creamy. Burn was even. Lots of aging potential. - Submitted by yellowgrip on July 13, 2010
