Review #81: Hi can anyone help me? I got a box of cohibas from a doctor friend of mine, they are Edicion Limitada 2006. I looked over the box, hinges, burned stamping on box bottom, I checked everything and compaired it to the spotting fakes reviews on the net, I cant tell if these are real, The bands are very high quality , and the cigars themselves are uniform and seem to be made very well. I smoked two of them and there very coco and coffee tasting, burn is good no white ash. I smoke the fuentes all the time and vega fina for a night time smoke these seem to be a high quality cigar, Can anyone help me, are these authentic? - Submitted by jimgrotto on November 25, 2007
Review #80: I have a few boxes of these and tey are starting to taste better than when I previously reviewed them. The flavors are starting to appear more pronounced. Because of the maduro wrapper, it has sweeter, more chocolate and coffee like taste with a great, perhaps even too easy draw. I still feel it is way to early to make judgements such as the best cigar anyone has ever smoked as the tobacco is still young, even if aged for however long the additional label in the box states. Good now, but let's wait to see what a few more years will bring. I must admit they are beautiful to look at. I see that some boxes in the U.K. are going for close to $1300.00.I think I paid $480.00 per box, even less than I am paying for new Esplendidos. I say at this point it is a six and a half out of ten. Hi Kathleen! - Submitted by Rich Golodner on November 13, 2007
Review #79: I have had the pleasure of smoking one of these rare beauties and have to confess. This is the best cigar Cohiba has made to date excluding the 35th anniversary . Much talk about the esplendidos, and siglo vi, has tried to compare with this cigar but in my opinion, it's blend and age distinguishes this cigar as the winner. I have never tasted a cigar that mastered the blend of cocoa, and coffee with a hint of leather like this cigar. A cigar that comes close is the trinidad coloniales. The Sublime is the Perfect cigar if I may say so. - Submitted by Gent with Style on November 8, 2007
Review #78: I have to say that this cigar stands up to any competition and commands the respect as the best of the best. Smooth yet has the rich traditional cohiba taste. This rare cigar is a treat. If you get a chance to get your hands on the real thing. It's a real treat. I've had this box for about 8 month and finally smoked one last night. - Submitted by Lancelot on November 8, 2007
