Review #145: Gentlemen, everybody and DoctorsJust...Habanos SA is the only sales organization that market and sell the production cigars that are the long filler, hand rolled branded cigars from Cuba; Cohiba, Vegas Robinia, Monte Cristo, etc., The only companies allowed to sell these branded products must go through a distribution network of Habanos SA around the globe. Go to Habanos SA website to review. This company Cuban Cigar Lounge states " we buy direct from the factories" only means one thing...their cigars might be of cuban tobacco and they might come from the island somewplace, but they are NOT the production cigars of Cuba...they are fakes, plain and simple. Another sign and a sure thing for me is the price. Habanos SA dictates the cost at the distribution level. So no one company is that much lower than the next. Buying a box of Cohiba Esplendidos for $250 is like me telling you i have a new BMW 320i for sale for $10,000. And the last, would be box codes. Do they have any? Are they following the latest code print and style? You may believe what you want, you are entitled to that, but you are not buying and smoking regular production run Cuban cigars. JUN 03 I have smoked some aged cohibas siglo VI (4 years perfectly aged), wonderful taste; smooth perfectly balanced, best cigar I ever smoked. I almost have one of these Sublimes, a gift from a friend. When I smoked it was perfect. Classical Cohiba taste, but in a very big cigar. The best is the easy smoking this cigar give to the aficionado, like smoking a cigarrette. Very hard to find, but not as splendid as you can spectate.
