Review #12: OCT 07 just purchased a box of montecarlos dated Oct 07, EMA factory code...contrary to the above description, these cigars are still available, and they are being made 'totalmente a mano'...they've been available in Canada for decades...unfortunately, I've already had to discard a few plugged cigars(the hazards of buying a box), but not before performing a post-mortem to confirm that they are indeed handmade with long filler tobacco...beautiful burn,a mild cigar, with that lovely PL dry wood/caramel/praline aroma, with a hint of citrus/cilantro, maybe. My love of cigars is gonna put me in the poorhouse! - Submitted by estevedore on November 30, 2008

- Submitted by cipu on August 12, 2008

Review #9: OCT 07 Totally agree with review #4, it's my everyday cigar. - Submitted by davidchu88 on July 4, 2008

Review #8: Very nice 1 hour cigar. The small ring gauge allows a very precise and enjoyable Cuban experience. Like reviewer #6 I also detected the famous Por Larranaga caramel. Perhaps the burnt flavours come from smoking the cigar! At any rate this is a very enjoyable smoke. Excellent burn and construction. Weak ash, but that's not a downfall or a negative. I would definitely smoke these again, if I can find them. I understand they are now discontinued, but they're still available if you don't mind searching high and low. - Submitted by cookj1 on June 24, 2008
