Review #43: OCT 19 LGR OCT 19, lovely slim panetela, a work of art in hand, excellent draw, perfect burn. Cedar, strong coffee, nuts, light pepper, roasted tobacco. After 2 trials I bought the whole rest box, now I am seeking for another one. People advise it is getting better with some age. - Submitted by nikolaros on October 21, 2021

Review #42: Just tried one which given by my friend. Very smooth, clean smoking of Leather and coco taste. You can smoke it at any time of the day and spend u about 40 minutes. It will be perfectly match with a cup of coffee. - Submitted by danielw on September 24, 2021

Review #41: AUG 20 Apparently this modelwas re-introduced as I purchased a box from a LCDH merchant. Only 11 months old. No cellophane wrapper. Apparently this cigar needs lots of age as it was not what as described on this page. Bland tobacco with a hint of Cuban aroma.Even burn for the most part but went out several times. Ashes fell off after reaching 1/2 inch . It a 'you get what you pay for cigar' and you get very little from this cigar. - Submitted by neuticles on July 23, 2021

Review #40: DEC 18 Loved these cigars in the past and just received two new boxes dated December 2018. Even without a full day in the humidor, they were tremendous and blew my head off. The amount of smoke and creamy flavor was wonderful, with tones of dry nuts and cedar. - Submitted by owensinco on December 3, 2020

Review #39: A couple of years ago, before my cigar smoking break the Montecarlos were hard to find, at least here in Switzerland and I used to smoke the Panetelas, which I liked a lot. This week finally, I smoked 2 Montecarlos, which from what I remembered, tasted different enough to not think they're like the Panetelas, just longer. The Montecarlo is a Por LarraƱaga cigar on its own. Both of them I smoked together with late breakfast, the first one was wonderful and pure bliss, the second one I somehow didn't get the same access to like to the first one. It wasn't the cigar that was wrong, I guess it was just me. I would like to add a few words to the description of this cigar in the header: it is correct that there was a machine-made Montecarlo (cellophaned or not) until 2002 when it was replaced by the hand-made Montecarlo, which is still in production (fortunately!). - Submitted by jensi on August 9, 2019
