Review #78: NOV 08 Where can I get some of these cigars? - Submitted by James and Linda Mack on March 14, 2009

Review #77: SEP 07 Paired it with water. It was harsh and spicy. Didn't enjoyed it. Guess I will have to age the remaining cigars a bit longer. - Submitted by davidV5 on March 11, 2009

Review #76: DEC 08 Was in Old Havana last week, offered a few CUC to an old lady to see the inside of her Spanish Colonial home (somewhere near Cathedral Square), was introduced to her daughter who worked in a cigar factory. She told me to come back the day after if I wanted to buy some cigars. Next day I purchased a carton of 25 No.5 Montecristos (5*5)from her, paid 40 CUC (didn't drive a hard bargain, these people have little money or comfort). This cigar is so mild and smooth, perfect draw and length, the ones I purchased were exceptionally fresh, and made in Dec 08, non smokers commented on how pleasant the aroma was..I smoked 11 of them over the next 5 days, trying to save them now, feel the need to pass the experience on. - Submitted by Ultanmc on March 3, 2009

Review #75: Smoked one out of five singles. It was very tasty and it reminded me of my trip in Cuba! Excellent construction, very smooth wrapper, it burned even and had an excellent draw. It became a little harsh in the begining of the last third, but it could be because of the high humidity in my humidor. After all, one of the best perlas. - Submitted by ostelis on February 26, 2009

Review #74: This is a fine smoke: Classic flavour, spicey, great draw - everything Monte always delivers, but in a shorter timespan. - Submitted by baobab on February 18, 2009
