Review #44: I had another MC 5 last night, and it remains a wonderfully consistent little beauty. Perfect draw every time, perfect burn and clouds and clouds of flavorful smoke -- earthy, with a little spice. A really good choice for a midday quickie or for any other occassion where time is a factor. It is a little cigar that does not compromise on taste. I'm buying more. - Submitted by jkk on March 29, 2007

Review #43: This perla is perfect for the time inhibited cigar lover. It embodies excellent quality; there is no need to douse this smoke, because it is terse-yet fulfilling. I'm buying another box... - Submitted by HUC on March 17, 2007

Review #42: I have smoked a lot of #5s... In fact, I probably wrote a review here some time ago to say it was a great little smoke... But the last one I had wasn't that great at all.... Dry, austere, not a lot of depth, just a plain poor cigar... It was brand new, which means the ones I used to like 2-3 years ago must be smoking beautifully now, but I definitely wouldn't stock up on the ones hitting the market now... - Submitted by Smokin' Phil on February 25, 2007

Review #41: Some time ago, I swore off buying Cuban cigars, because in my opinion, they were way overpriced for what I got. Now I've just smoked a MC #5, and I may have to rethink my decision. This cigar was wonderful, and I now understand what people mean when they say a cigar was " spicey, peppery ". This was a very satisfying smoke, with great flavor, perfect draw, good burn, and clouds of delicious smoke with every puff. It lasted almost an hour, and I may just buy a few more hours of cigar heaven. - Submitted by W. Merrifield on February 17, 2007

Review #40: A superb small cuban with all of the Montecristo flavor and punch. I have smoked several boxes of these from differing years and they have been remarkably consistent. Nice construction, excellent draw and even burn. The flavor is typical Montecristo with spice, cream, bitter-sweet tobacco flavor, and undertones of leather and cedar. Highly recommended for a short smoke, although it will last for 45 minutes if smoked slowly. - Submitted by McSmoke on February 16, 2007
