Review #105: Regarding review 103 - Yes, can be a bit iffy when very young, but this shows up as draw problems rather than lack of "flavour, taste and aroma"..... The ones from the 5 packs are usually the lowest standard of manufacture too. Try the #4's when they are over 4 years old (or a MC Petit Tubo) and its a guaranteed minimum 7/10! - Submitted by XBO on December 19, 2006

Review #104: I am shocked by the previous review: Perhaps he purchased some fake product? I find the Montecristo No. 4 to be one of the best petit coronas available. Just the right bite, loads of chocolate and sandstone notes, accompanied by a lush draw and a perfect burn make this cigar a blockbuster. The fact that it is the most produced cigar on the planet says it all: A true must have. - Submitted by jcruise400 on December 19, 2006

Review #103: Montecristo No. 4 must be produced by a magician. A magician? Yes, yes, yes, a magician. A magician who succeeds in disburdening this cigar of virtually ALL flavours. In its own (very, very – no: extreme) quiet way No. 4 builds up to one of the most astonishing experiences you're ever to have. Just think for a second – have you ever tasted something with no flavour at all? With Montecristo's No. 4 it's all possible! But no, I'm not fair, because in the last third there could be one or another flavour! But I'm really not sure because No. 4 in this part evolves into a sharpness which would superimpose over any aroma. I've heard that No. 4 is the most successful of all Cuban cigars which is an insult to all the other brands (and formats). It shows (and now to the moralistic part of this review) that in today's mass culture, only things with no personality at all can be really successful. With its lack of flavour, taste and aroma, Montecristo No. 4 is not necessarily a cigar for those who hate cigars. But it for sure is a cigar for those who hate smoking them. - Submitted by bikel73 on December 18, 2006

Review #102: Very nice sigar. Sometimes a little to bitter. Overall a nice robust sigar. Doesn't have the depth of a cohiba and a very nice cigar for daily use. - Submitted by Jeroen van der Pluijm on December 16, 2006

Review #101: A really nice cigar! the first draw was a little bitter but after that a nice even mellow smoke. Nicely constructed with a rich colour. Lovely silky feel in the hand. Lots of nice aromatic smoke and a lush full taste. A nice white two inches of ash and a balanced draw. Well worth what I paid for it here in Oslo! Definately a nice day to day cigar! - Submitted by nicedraw on December 15, 2006
