Montecristo Montecristo D LE 2005 Review:

The best-known of all Habanos brands now introduces this splendid 8-9-8-style case comprising 10 units (3-4-3) of Montecristo D. Its dimensions (43 ring gauge and 170 mm long) are equivalent to the factory name Dalia so smokers can be able to feel the natural character of Montecristo, a brand that has proven to be an all-times success.

Review #28: --- 05 Very disappointing and one dimensional cigar. Construction is flawless, but the flavors just don't develop. Had such high hopes..... - Submitted by cigar-sama on January 22, 2017

Review #27: smoked only one of two which i found in a tabacos store in Spain.after nine years of good keeping, because the cigar was in very good shape,i found me having a very good experiece.the draw was good, smoke was plenty, burn was good and the taste was interesting ,strong taste, not very complex. - Submitted by kamaz on March 3, 2014

Review #26: APR 05 This was a very disappointing cigar... Very bland and boring, dry hay and one dimensional. I actually felt like I was wasting my time smoking it. Since it was a 2005 Montecristo, I was hoping for much better. - Submitted by nightdiverbill on October 9, 2013

Review #25: Oily, deep dark brown almost Maduro wrapper. Good burn and construction .... from then on all downhill .... bland, boring and with anything which might have been interesting smothered beneath a heavy and monotonous wood/leather base. A disappointing cigar, the regular production Montecristo No 1 is far, far better. - Submitted by tippexx on November 7, 2012

Review #24: I think these are disapointing. After 6 years of aging I have a bland and boring smoke. - Submitted by ss396 on February 17, 2012
