Montecristo Montecristo C LE 2003 Review:

The Habano to enjoy on memorable occasions. For those smokers faithful to the Montecristo nature, quite a benchmark for most knowledgeable smokers. This production incorporates for the first time the new Montecristo band, designed so as to enhance the elegant presentation of the brand.

Review #37: --- 03 I am not impressed with this one att all.Expected much more.Bought only one to try, because i saw low score on this site and score is quite right.Uneaven burn, very low substance on taste, solid draw, overall not so good limitada.Nice looking, but tat is all. - Submitted by ilijat on May 11, 2011

Review #36: Astonishing beginning for a cigar that is finally ready to be smoked. Medium to full body and a robust mixture of wood and earthly flavors throughout. I find the Corona Gorda size to be the most enjoyable in the Habanos lineup and this is the ideal 1h 30min afternoon smoke for 2011. Find them and smoke them. - Submitted by RomanAbbey on March 15, 2011

Review #35: --- 03 bought two boxes in '04 and smoked one up at that time. not too impressed. began smoking them again in '09 and they had developed into one of the finest cigars i have ever tasted. time made all the difference on this one. - Submitted by joe durrett on January 5, 2010

Review #34: I let them sit for many years and every once in a while I will smoke one. This is my second box. I went thrugh the first one very quickly and I loved them back then. When I smoked one a few months ago i was disapponited. They were bland, not very complex and I questioned my memory of a few years ago. I read many reviews that these get better over time but I did not experience it. I also was very disappointed with the Hoyo pyramid 2003 since they were just dead after all these years. They were horrible. Makes me think that the LE cigars in every brand are a hit or miss with aging since no one really knows how they will end up.Whenever I buy LE cigars now I buy then in singals and enjoy them for what they are there and then. Not taking a chance of paying a high price and rolling the dice. Monty C 2003 is ok. Beautiful wrapper. Gets strong towards the end but as I said very one dimentional. - Submitted by alenbak on July 26, 2009

- Submitted by cipu on February 23, 2009
