Partagas Petit Coronas Review:

This cigar, discontinued in 2002, is not rare despite that fact. Typical Partagas taste and medium strength with a minimum ageing recommended of at least five years.

Review #38: Early ‘70s. From a small collection purchased around 8 years ago, and slowly rehumidified and revitalized. Thought they were probably dry for decades, and I had very low expectations, they nicely revived over time and are smoking quite well now. This example was really nice. Excellent construction, perfect slow and even burn, just the right resistance in the draw, Strength starts mild to medium, picking up force as it progresses. Flavor is mostly herbal and woody, with nuts and some mushroom-like umami. Clean and refreshing aftertaste. It is said that cigars that become dry lose their oils and their taste, but my experience with these ancient smokes suggest that resurrection is possible with patience and TLC. Check out my reviews for a Cohiba Lancero in cellophane and a Los Statos de Luxe Cremas. - Submitted by RonSigler on September 23, 2023

Review #37: One of the most powerfull in srength cigars I have ever smoked from start to finish, about 1hr and 20min smoking time. Pure tobacco taste, very well and tight wrapped but with a nice draw. "Heavy duty cigar". - Submitted by ROMIOS on October 8, 2015

Review #36: Liked very-very much! Correct body, hard filling, even and slow burning. Taste: best to say, like a rainbow of spices. Caramel, cocoa, and later came some herbal note with wood. I will remember, for sure. - Submitted by Macskuzon on September 21, 2015

Review #35: JUN 02 Great little AM smoke. I really like that it develops tons of flavor and smoke for such a small cigar. While most Mareva's are somewhat weak, this one has all the taste and power of the larger Partagas range in a little package. Honey, pepper, caramel, wood, and tobacco blended together leading to a nice and powerful finish. - Submitted by bucketlist on September 7, 2015

Review #34: APR 03 Smoked one of my very last of these from two boxes from 2003 last night. It was just a pleasure with every draw. Long peppery finish. Just a joy. This one will be missed. - Submitted by Rich Golodner on July 16, 2013
