Cuaba Distinguidos Review:

All Cuaba cigars are of the uncut figurados format and Distinguidos wasn't going to be an exception. These cigars are particularly hard to make and demand a lot of skill from their torcedores. Distinguidos is a special edition Cuaba cigar, with a wholesome taste.

Review #35: JUL 20 Right off the bat, you appreciate the classic vintage look of this cigar, as well as the skill needed to roll it consistently. Lighting was easy thanks to the tapered foot, and the burn was razor sharp with no tunneling or relights needed throughout. Despite this cigar's young age, it started off with minimum twang and a solid medium flavor with hints of cinnamon and cedar. By the second half its strength evolved to full-bodied, with more pronounced notes of plums, leather and some bitter chocolate coming through. All in all a very enjoyable smoke, for me lasting nearly two hours! - Submitted by HerrHonaker on June 4, 2021

Review #34: JUN   LGR JUN 17 - Excellent cigar. Construction was very impressive--perfect draws and near flawless burn through the whole box of 10. Need some time for complexity to develop but the classic Cuaba peanut flavors and heavy toasted tobacco were plentiful. Not a bland spot in any of the 10. Remarkable consistency. 92/93 points. Maybe the best Cuaba in current production and certainly only second to the small Divinos. - Submitted by nsxcigar on December 14, 2017

Review #33: MAY 14 I have to concur with what post #27 said. That man knows a great cigar when he smokes one and knows even more on how to describe a wonderful smoking experience. EML May 15. - Submitted by tonyaccardo on January 28, 2016

Review #32: I have to say I was extremely impressed by the superb construction, burn and draw of the Distinguidos !!!!!!!!!! First third -or so- has a nice but very mild citrus flavor and smoke is not thick as I would have liked, although it becomes thicker after the first half. Second third is stronger with what I can describe as "grapefruit bitterness" very impressive but still too mild for my taste, although stronger than the first third. Last third, is even stronger but plain tobacco flavor and some bitterness dominate till the end, with some faint leather notes. Overall, nothing to put me off as I have smoked this to the nub,but nothing really special either to convince me that it is worthy of its high price.I will agree with post #28 and say that I prefer to stay with the glorious-for me- Partagas Serie P No.2 which I consider to be a better cigar,as I believe the Monte No.2 is too. - Submitted by pancig on May 13, 2013

Review #31: OCT 10 Very pretty cigar. Had one in Cuba just to see what the brand were about. I found it very herbaceous, peppery and fairly strong with not a lot of sweeter notes. Did build in strength and became darker still. 2hrs worth of relaxation. Very good. - Submitted by tomothebuilder on May 13, 2013
