Review #18: --- 09 Have a few coffins from 2009. Don't know full box code. Finally smoked one (Aug 2017). Construction and burn was excellent. Very smooth cigar. Some flavours similar to Trinidad but not very dynamic. I expected more range in a vitola this size. For the most part, I tasted some sourdough, nuts and the odd hint of cedar now and then. While it did not excite me it was an enjoyable smoke. I'm not sure if there is any aging potential. Having not smoked one when it was fresh makes that hard to determine. - Submitted by bundwallah on September 7, 2017

Review #17: Just smoked a Diadema, after not doing so in a while. I had forgotten how truly amazing these masterpieces are. Due to its form and size the progress of flavor development is impressive. The aromas are non-complex but very well balanced and obviously long lasting as they evolve. Mild at first the cigar gathers strength while maintaining the general cedary, earthy and straight tobacco flavors with lighter herbal and mineral notes.....eventually.....progressing into the semi-mild mostly nutty body and then to the stronger, sweet coffee and caramel with some hints of vanilla and finaly spice. I would suggest not smoking them till “the very end” since they might get a bit harsh and could spoil the prior perfection. Very very very enjoyable smoke. - Submitted by dimi681 on October 21, 2013

Review #16: OCT 07 Excellent construction- a very impressive looking cigar. Second from box of five- both have been a tad light in flavor and lacking smoke. While it intensified in flavor toward the last 1/3- I have found it a tad disappointing. The finish flvaors were fresh dairy cream and some wood. - Submitted by neuticles on January 1, 2012

- Submitted by cipu on January 8, 2009

Review #14: MAR 08 Wow... this is one of the most impressive cigars I've ever beheld. Having had the opportunity to get a few of these from a reliable source... and having left them in my humidor for a few weeks... I decided it was time to try one. It smelled great out of the coffin with that heady cuban smell. It was beautifully constructed with a nice, oily wrapper -- no plugs or soft spots. The draw -- which is my biggest concern whenever I get a legit cubano -- was smooth and easy. First part of the cigar was a little underwhelming... a little light on the smoke and not as flavorful as I had been hoping. As I got into the first third, however, it started getting very nice. A woody-vanilla flavor with that mingled with that creamy carmel smoke that is a relative constant with all the quality habanos I've tasted. As we moved down the stick both the flavors and the smoke intensified. I took it to the nub because it was such a nice smoke. Finished it in about 2.5 hours or so. I agree with OscarC below. Take your time with this one. It's better to smoke it slow. I'd give it an 89 or so on the CA scale. - Submitted by Mr. Shoo on September 27, 2008
