Review #44: Had it last night with fellow aficionados. Good flavour throughout the cigar, slightly uneven burn and tighter draw on the first have of the unicos. - Submitted by mef on July 19, 2006
Review #43: Am smoking these from a recent production box, and after a month they are rounding into sticks yielding incredible strong and complex flavors of spice, cedar and chocolate. What a great buy. Highly recommended. And much more consistent than my box of Monty 2's which when great are great, but you never know what you will pull out of the box. - Submitted by Cigardo on June 20, 2006

Review #41: Smoked one of these last night. A delight! Not as complex, nor as full bodied as a Montecristo #2...but these , as described above, they are an excellant counterpoint to the #2. Light to medium bodied thru the smoke.
I'm picking up a box of these this week. - Submitted by donk93953 on June 5, 2006
Review #40: I just bought a box from 6/99, and I am in love with them! The wrapper is a very dark brown, with the oils very visible on the surface. The cap is perfect, which to me is not always so in the piramide format. Construction, also, top-notch...with a second to none bouquet, and then you get to light it up! Starts right off with a rich and full-flavored huge mouthful of smoke, and burned just so to the end. To me, it was a spice bomb, but with an abundance of woodiness that I love. I was also very pleased with the complex tobacco flavors...and as I'm sure the age has something to do with the smoothness and tastes, the blend itself seemed to be just perfect to me, and I would have no problem buying a box from 04 or even 05. This is one of the very top of the piramide cigars...better than the Monte 2, IMHO, and the Diplomaticos # 2, of which I'm a big fan, as well. I would recommend these to just about any real cigar lover, with a small amount of warning to the novice. - Submitted by dlctwice on December 2, 2005
