Review #8: Very creamy, toffee or caramel flavors erupt into a complex taste that IMHO cannot be beat by any other minuto!
Smooth taste, never harsh but always exceptionally good, even young they seem to hold their own! - Submitted by rookie139 on February 13, 2005
Review #7: Hmmm, I really enjoyed the first one I had, but after trying a few more, though all had the same lovely full flavours, I realised how random the construction was. Generally with a very hard, tight roll. They burn very hot also which spoils them for me. They are a very nice smoke when you get a goodun, but it's few and far between, so 6/10 i'm afraid. - Submitted by A. Dyer on December 18, 2004
Review #6: A great little cigar! Mine was from the Partagas factory, November 2002, and very complex and packed with flavor. The first half was a balance of herbs, wood, leather, earthiness, and subtle hints of coffee and cocoa. The second half saw the herbal and woody qualities dominate and become deeper. Great construction to boot. I highly recommend these! - Submitted by Black Plague on November 11, 2004
Review #5: I somewhat regretfully just picked up a box of these in the absence of being able to pick up a box of monte #5's for an after lunch smoke at work. They are well constructed, decent draw- but, flat and didn't start to go anywhere until right before it got to hot to be inviting, and even then it didn't seem to be going anywhere to great. Going to trade these and wait out another box of monte 5's. - Submitted by Chris O on July 19, 2004
Review #4: Truth to tell I found these Ramon Allones strong, full bodied and a bit flat. They improved at half-way but also got hotter. Near the nub all 3 became very tarry and too hot to enjoy. As I've said before small Cuban's show a diminishing return on your investment so they need to be sure you enjoy them before you buy a box. I'll sample again sometime, not any time soon though. - Submitted by willisoften on April 15, 2004
