Review #30: What a great little pocket rocket. The one I had was very smooth and full of classic cuban overtones. I swear I tasted hints of cocoa or chocolate combined with spice. I love Bolivar no. 2s and this one compares, possibly a bit better , but hey that's a matter of taste. Highly recommnded ! A true Cuban classic . - Submitted by mrkakadu007 on July 19, 2007

Review #29: This little chap was missing from the game. I was very found of his fellow hoyo petit robusto and still am though this petit edmundo has taken the jewel from the crown ! Excellent. This is a much more exciting smoke than the Hoyo petit robustos and the regular edmundo. Go for it, you won't be disapointed. - Submitted by kriss on July 3, 2007

Review #28: An interesting choice for the first first course in the recent Cigar Society's Farewell Dinner I found this little gem far too bold and forward for an aperitif toke. Classical habano flavours were almost too much to begin the night with and my palate was tired before the entree arrived. Really loose draw from what felt like a very tightly rolled body - certainly not underfilled! Packed with flavour I will revisit this Monte again but match it to an after-dinner whisky on a full stomach rather than a good appetite and a beer. A low score this time only due to the circumstances of the timing rather than the construction or flavour which even with Monte's enormous production capacity having impacted many of its other lines did not manifest in this particular puros. - Submitted by Uncle on July 2, 2007

Review #27: A big surprize! i had my first one last night from a brand new box(nov06) i thought that this will be young, harsh, etc but i was wrong.. Is ready just right out of the box.Round smoke, excellent burn,mind-blowing taste.I am still in love with the hdm petit's but this fatty guy, will be my new "short gangster's" cigar for sure.PERFECT - Submitted by nikolaros on June 7, 2007

Review #26: A surprize, this fat little thing delivers with an elegant burn and copious smoke but it's initial flavor is very charcoally with a strong ligero tobacco taste. A Cuban hallmark & not at all a bad thing, but at first it masks the fine aroma and complexity of this cigar. It took me a while to get used to them. Very strong, but richly favorful, with the sweet spice & baked bread goodness of a classic habano. - Submitted by oceans11 on June 5, 2007
