Montecristo Petit Tubos Review:
This cigar is the same as the Montecristo No. 4, except that it is presented in an aluminium tube, thus allowing you to carry the cigar wherever you go without damaging it. A strong and powerful cigar, one of the top 3 cigars from this manufacturer.

Review #30: As is often the case with a cigar commonly available in single format, or contained within a tube, it tends to appeal to the inexperienced smoker. This is unfortunate, as the Petit Tubos (No.4s) are rather too stronger smoke to make an ideal beginner's smoke. Thi said, i have always found them to be the ideal travelling partner, with a rich and fairly complicated smoke. It is a cigar that provides enjoyment, without making the demands that a more complicated, stronger cigar makes on the smoker. the score that i have given, is intended as a reflection of the cigar's general performance and character, for it would score lower on flavour alone. Very good consistency (far better than the No.4), a rather tightly packed cigar, so draw requires a little effort. I wholeheartedly reccomend this cigar to those who want to smoke whilst travelling, and those who want a relaxing smoke. - Submitted by MJCW on January 8, 2008
Review #29: i was surprised when i smoked one of these as they are the same as cuba's largest production cigar, they have nice complexity, a good medium-full bodied cigar that is enoyable after a good meal - Submitted by Simon M on August 22, 2007
Review #28: Anyone who is familiar with smoking cubans will have definitely tried the no.4 since these seem to be the staple entry level cigar. For this reason I had never given the petit tubos a try before, since I knew that they were the same as the no.4. I was curious to try one however to see if the quality was greater and yes this turned out to be true. The petit tubos have a much greater consistency to quality, however they are also more expensive. The only other thing with the tubes is that you lose that box pressed shape but this for me is not important. There is something odd about cigars that are offered in singles and tubes, the tubes are always better. I have always found this to be the case with many cigars. If the tubes are only slighty more expensive in your area, I suggest you go with them for a better smoke. - Submitted by Gillette on August 1, 2007
Review #27: i normally enjoy this as an easy cigar with the distinctive monte charm but i have to say i just smoked such a dry mess. better smoke a no4 from a humidor where is can gain taste from other cigars. - Submitted by prd0042 on May 26, 2007
- Submitted by Guillaume on April 28, 2007
